2004 42 Fountain Lightning

2004 42 Fountain Lightning. Original owner was part owner of the watch company Tiret and had the boat custom painted. It’s not a wrap. A friend bought it in 2007 and a few years later at around 250 hours on the Port Motor a valve spring failed which destroyed the engine. I bought it in 2017, replaced the engine with an untouched, original motor that had only 112 hours at the time and then did a complete top end on the Starboard side. Just recently in June did the Valve Springs, Retainers, Clips and Seals on the Port Motor. Also, both batteries, oil changes, spark plugs, fuel filters and raw water pumps. Engine hours are at 240 Port and 385 Starboard.

The boat runs very strong and upon doing a compression test both motors range from 160 – 170 PSI. The cockpit has been nicely upgraded. Complete new Carbon Fiber Dash, Side Panel, Shifters and all Gauges. All rails re powder coated black and some interior upholstery sections re done.

It is equipped with XR drives, -2” Sport Master Shorties spinning 32P 5 Blade Cutting Edge Propellers. Shore power, transom shower, fridge, vaccu flush head, LED cockpit lighting that can either be blue or white, large stereo with 2 12” woofers and 2 Alpine Amps. The Lid for the cabin door broke but still have and the lid for the boarding ladder fell off. Paint has a few scuffs as well. The previous owner was not the greatest at docking. Extreme triple axle trailer also included. Brakes and bearings were just recently serviced as well.
